carved seated on a rocky plinth, his raised right leg resting on a mythical beast before him, clasping a ring in his left hand, dressed in loose fitting robes inlaid with glass-paste stones and pearl, the head slightly tilted to his left and incised with curled eyebrows, moustache and beard, the stone of a greyish brown tone with brighter caramel inclusions
Condition
A loss to the figure's left hoop earring, little finger on the right hand and possible loss to the finger's left index figure. Chip to the right earring and some of the beaded inlay lost and possibly replaced. The base with a 10mm loss to front, as visible in catalgue image.
