the cover finely carved with three figures in a mountainous landscape, all reserved on various diaper grounds and within a key-fret band at the rim, the sides of the box and cover carved with dense floret diaper, the interior and base lacquered black
Condition
The cover with four re-painted chips to the rim, the largest measuring approximately 30mm wide, with further chips to the rim and numerous cracks (four of which are severe) to rim and side. The main design of cover in very good condition.
The box with extensive losses of lacquer along the inner rim, which is completely re-painted. Numerous rim cracks. The edge of the base with three large chips (painted) and several smaller chips with traces of paint.
