明嘉靖 黄釉大盌 《大明嘉靖年製》款

This large bowl is in good condition, but there are four small glaze chips to the rim and some wear/scratches to the glaze to the interior

如斯碩大之嘉靖黄釉盌，甚為珍稀，存世僅見一例出版，出自 H.R.N. Norton 和 Ira and Nancy Koger 收藏，載於 J. Ayers，《Chinese Ceramics. The Koger Collection》，倫敦，1985年，圖版75，曾售於紐約佳士得2006年9月19日，編號247。清宮舊藏另有一作例，尺寸略小，直徑30.3公分，現仍存北京，錄於《故宮博物院藏文物珍品全集‧顏色釉》，香港，1999年，圖版43。

此盌形制沉穩大氣，但器壁輕薄，且施釉均勻，反映匠人對材質及燒造過程駕輕就熟，免致胎土變形，盡顯藝匠卓爾不群之技法。
