- gilt bronze
cast seated in lalitasana on a double-lotus base, the right hand extended in varadamudra and the left hand raised to the chest, flanked by leafy uptala lotuses rising above the shoulders, dressed in a dhoti incised with a foliate borders, further embellished with beaded jewellery, crowned with a five-leaf tiara
Condition
The figure is in good condition with the exception of a slight depression to the front edge of the base, loss to the top of the floral stem on the right shoulder, loss to the tip of the scarf on the left shoulder, loss to the inlay on the head dress, necklace and arms, loss to the top of the ushnisa and minor rubbing to the gilt decoration. The base is open.
