The vase is in very good condition with the exception of minor glaze scratches and very minor rubbing to the gilt decoration.

藍地描金製器為數不多，非常珍稀。乾隆年製者更不見他例，本品應屬孤品。可比較一作例，尺寸較大，屬咸豐年器並款，現藏北京故宮博物院，載於《故宮博物院藏文物珍品全集：清》，卷十五，上海，2000年，圖版183。
