- Cloisonne enamel, gilt copper
the bell-shaped base rising to a stepped shoulder, surmounted by a ribbed cylindrical neck terminating to an everted rim, set with a curved spout opposite a scrolled handle decorated in gilt, the exterior variously decorated with meandering floral scroll bands against turquoise, dark blue and green grounds, the foot skirted by a gilt lappet band, similarly decorated to the base with a composite floral scroll, the domed cover surmounted by a gilt knop
Condition
The ewer and cover are in good condition with the exception of light dents to the spout and rubbing to the gilded decoration.
