of rectangular form, the flat top brightly decorated with a rectangular panel enclosing a five-tiered pagoda on a bed of waves from where large leafy sprays of lotus grow, all surrounded by floral scrolls, the sides of the cover and box decorated with undulating scrolling lotuses, the interior enamelled green and the rims gilt

Condition
In very good general condition, with only characteristic pitting and shallow flaking to the enamels. The flaking most significant to the flat base and with some enamel cracks. Minor dents and wear to rims; wear to gilt-bronze mounts.
