of circular form, rising from three ruyi feet to an everted rim, the interior brightly decorated with three phoenix in flight amongst large peony blooms issuing from meandering leafy stems, all surrounded by a foliate scroll band at the sides

Condition
Extensive cracking to the enamels with characteristic pitting and flakes. A large area to the centre with losses to the enamels, infilled. Wear to gilt-bronze rims.
