the deep rounded sides rising from a tall straight foot to a slightly everted rim, painted around the exterior in rich cobalt-blue tones with the bajixiang within a continuous lotus scroll, all above a lappet and classic scroll band at the lower body and foot, the interior with the six-character mark inscribed within a rectanglular cartouche

Condition
In very good general condition, with only some spotting, glaze pulls and firing imperfections to the interior and a 1.5mm rim frit.

本品從形制、紋飾及直書年款皆承襲自宣德一朝。此器高足，盌身弧圓飽滿，纏枝蕃蓮上飾八吉祥紋，與宣德時期雛型非常相類，參考台北故宮博物院作例，形制及蓋面紋飾相似，錄於《故宮藏瓷‧明青花瓷》，第II冊，香港，1963年，圖版33。此式樣其後繼續沿用於十八世紀青花瓷，見一瓷盌作例，帶康熙年款，現存北京故宮博物院，載於《清順治康熙青花瓷》，北京，2005年，圖版115。
器心書直款甚為珍稀，似乎源於宣德時期的矮身高足盌，參考台北故宮博物院一作例，錄於《明代宣德官窰菁華特展圖錄》，台北故宮博物院，1998年，編號115及116。宣德直款亦見於一茶壺作例之口流處，此壺錄於《明初青花瓷》，第1冊，北京，2002年，圖版97；及一水滴作例口流之殘片上，圖載於《景德鎮出土明初官窰瓷器特展》，台北，1998年，圖版F8。
