Condition
Both large baskets have general minor cracks and nibbling along the extremities. One basket has a 2.5 x 1cm area of loss to one panel on the angled shoulder with associated cracks, several panels are slightly warped and become dislocated from the ribbed borders. One bird and flower strut (just below the finial) to the cover is missing. The side and base panels of the other basket are warped and became dislocated from the ribbed borders. There are traces of glue around the struts below the finial of the cover.
One stand is loose from the vase, one panel is slightly dislocated from its ribbed vertical border. Both vases have a warped rim. There are minor nicks and cracks but otherwise the vases are in very good condition.
The small baskets are in general good condition with the exception of some cracks and areas of loss, re-gluing, repair and replacement. One basket has a 1.5 x 0.5cm loss to the apron with associated cracks. There are general vertical cracks to the pierced panels, some being consolidated. The other basket has a 0.5 x 0.5cm repair to the apron next to one foot and other minor cracks.
