carved recumbent with its legs tucked underneath the body and tail curled alongside its rear haunches, grasping a leafy sprig of lingzhi in its mouth, the stone of a pale celadon tone with russet veining
Condition
The carving is in good condition with the exception of natural nicks and inclusions to the stone. The stone is of a darker celadon tone compared to the catalogue illustration, suffused with extensive black and russet-brown inclusions.
