- Copper
each with rounded sides rising from a slightly waisted foot to a flared rim, the exterior gilt decorated with feathery scrolling foliage centred with stylised flower heads, between a border of small detached scrolls around the rim and a border of petal lappets around the base, all reserved on a lapis-blue ground, the interior enamelled sky blue, the base with a four-character reign mark in blue enamel
Condition
The interior of the two bowls have minor pinholes to the light-blue enamel and some faint hairline cracks (approx. 4cm) running vertically down from the rim. The exterior has been repainted considerably. The gilding around the rims has been rubbed. There is minor pitting to the white enamel at the base. One bowl has a five-point star hairline to the base, a 4cm scratch to the exterior and minor uneven edges to the enamels along the rim on the exterior.
