The vessel is in very good condition with the exception of some minute nibbles to the rim and one to the tip of the spout. It should be noted that the stone is of a slightly more celadon-white tone than the catalogue illustration would suggest.

本品細薄晶瑩、浮雕花卉紋飾，乃出自印度莫臥兒王朝痕都斯坦玉匠之手。痕都斯坦玉於乾隆年間引入中國，及後於其在位期間大量玉器從伊斯蘭地區被進貢清宮。得乾隆帝之青睞，伊斯蘭玉匠進宮作器。至1764年，中國宮廷玉匠已能完全把握精確仿製清宮藏印度玉器的技巧。
