carved seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base, the left arm raised with both hands held in vitarkamudra, wearing a shawl and dhoti opening to the front to reveal the bare chest, the face with a benevolent expression surmounted by a circlet around the forehead

Condition
The figure is in good overall condition with the exception of a light matrix of age crackles to the left side of the face, minor hairline age cracks in particular running horizontally across the chest, two open vertical cracks (21 and 36cm., long) running down the back of the figure with further associated cracks and minor loss, re-attachement of the left hand, loss to four small (3cm., and three 1,5cm.) sections of the braided hair on the left and right shoulder, and minor nibbles, loss and scratches to the lacquer.
