the baluster body painted with deer and cranes in a river landscape with pine trees and mountains, all between two bands of cloud scrolls, the short neck encircled with pendent ruyi lappets, wood cover and stand
Condition
The jar is in good condition with the exception of a slight lean, a 2.5cm., wide bruise with associated 8mm., flake to the inside edge of the rim and minor glaze firing imperfections including iron-spot impurities, blisters, glaze pinholes and burst glaze bubbles, and light glaze scratches.
