The rest is in very good condition with the exception of light wear to the gilding, some small areas of enamel shrinkage and scattered enamel pin holes.

銅胎掐絲琺瑯臂擱甚為罕見，本品更飾有文人喜愛之花鳥主題，雅緻宜人，實為瑰寶。本件臂擱形制效仿唐宋流行之「伏羲琴」，然此類形制的臂擱一般多為木雕。如水松石山房藏一件作例，正中題跋，傳郭尚先（1785－1833年）之作，2012年4月4日售於香港蘇富比，編號121。另一件作例曾展於香港東方陶瓷學會《文玩萃珍》展覽，馮平山博物館，香港，1986年，編號86。對伏羲琴有關之詳細討論可參見該展覽圖錄，頁174。另有一琴形紫檀木紙鎮，亦為文房雅玩，與本品意趣相近，出處同上，圖版224。
