Condition
This rare bowl has a 3cm., wide crescent-shaped area of over-painting to the exterior of the rim, a light matrix of glaze lines covering approximately 3/4 of the body and four long hariline cracks extending from the foot up towards the rim, minor glaze firing imperfections including glaze pulls, iron-spots and light glaze scratches.

如斯綠彩龍紋，流行於弘治正德年間，但源可上溯成化，其時見有二類，分別為先以釉下青花設骨再於釉上添彩，以及素胎施彩者。本品正為後者。例可參見台灣國立故宮博物院院藏二例，皆收錄於《成化瓷器特展》，台北，2003年，圖版107-8及110-11。
相似正德盌也見於紐約大都會藝術博物館館藏，收錄於Suzanne G. Valenstein，《A Handbook of Chinese Ceramics》，紐約，1989年，圖版156。也可見於倫敦大英博物館所收大衛德爵士舊藏器，發表於Daisy Lion-Goldschmidt，《Ming Porcelain》，倫敦，1978年，圖版106。另一件同類盌，曾屬玫茵堂收藏，錄於康蕊君，《玫茵堂中國陶瓷》，冊2，倫敦，1994年，圖版695，售於香港蘇富比2012年10月9日，編號20。 HRN Norton 舊藏中，有一隻相似之綠龍紋盌，曾展於《Mostra d'Arte Cinese》，公爵宮，威尼斯，1954年，編號687，先後售於倫敦蘇富比1963年11月5日，編號178和香港蘇富比1982年5月18日，編號176。
