Condition
The dish is in very good condition with the exception of minor frits to the edge of the rim, minor glaze firing imperfections including burst glaze bubbles and very light glaze scratches.

本品為一組尺寸略異，盤心繪人物圖，環飾龍鳳紋，書萬曆年款的青花盤之其一。另有兩盤例尺寸若之，紋飾相類：其一出自RER Luff收藏，曾售於倫敦佳士得1985年4月16日，編號256；其二1987年12月14日則售於倫敦佳士得，編號196。
同屬此類，但尺寸稍大之作例可見於Christina Loke Balsara收藏，售於香港佳士得1988年1月19日，編號257及靜觀堂典藏，售於紐約佳士得，1998年9月16日，編號366 。北京藝術博物館藏一較大盤例，中央繪有兩名武將，分別騎於馬上和立於河畔，該作例錄於《中國陶瓷全集》，冊12，上海，2000年，圖版192。
