seated in dhyanasana with hands held in dhyanamudra, wearing a plaited robe draped over his shoulders and falling in loose folds over his crossed legs, his gentle face detailed with downcast eyes and long pendulous earlobes, his hair arranged in rows of tight curls surmounted by the domed ushnisha, the flat base pierced to fit a peg, the jade of pale celadon-white tone with a very light brown inclusion toward the bottom of the robe on the reverse, wood stand 

The base may be slightly polished at one end and there is some light surface wear commensurated with age, but apart from this the figure is in good condition.
