the shallow rounded sides rising from a recessed base to an incurved rim, set with a tall arched handle spanning the diameter, decorated in washes of cobalt with pencilled details, the interior with a slightly convex landscape medallion depicting a fisherman crossing over a footbridge towards a multi-storeyed house set on a lake island, with a tall jagged cliff above and line of trees in the far-distance, all surrounded by branches of peony, prunus, chrysanthemum and rose around the cavetto, the exterior with a continuous mountainous landscape and two sailboats cruising on misty waters, the handle picked out with a butterfly flanked by two leafy sprays of finger citrus, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character seal mark
