each of ogée-form resting on a straight foot, the rounded waisted sides rising to an upturned rim, brightly decorated around the exterior in inky tones of cobalt with two fanciful dragons striding among quatrefoil clouds, one turning its head looking backward toward the other behind him, each with a powerful scaly body, muscular limbs and five outstretched claws, all between double lines at the rim and foot, the interior centred with a medallion enclosing a similar dragon writhing among flickering flames, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character seal mark

Condition

There is a natural body line of approx 2.5 cm to the side of one. There are some original minor pinholes or pin-prick air bubbles in the glaze. Otherwise both bowls are in good condition.
