明宣德 青花折枝花果紋葵瓣口盌 《大明宣德年製》款

of conical form with a six-lobed rim supported on a short slightly tapered foot, the interior centred with a medallion containing a flowering peach branch, surrounded by three sprigs of lotus flowers alternating with sprays of tree peony, chrysanthemum, and herbaceous peony, all beneath a row of small floral sprigs at the rim, the exterior painted with six fruit sprays comprising peach, cherry, loquat, pomegranate, grape, and lychee, alternating with six small floral sprays below including camellia, chrysanthemum, lotus, rose, and peony, the foot further encircled with a 'classic' scroll, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character reign mark within double circles

The bowl is in overall very good condition. There are some typical wear and light scratches to the surface glaze. The actual tone of the cobalt blue is a slightly lighter compared to the catalogue illustration.

此盌造型俊美秀雅，胎體細致輕巧，青花發色純正，繪工溫婉流暢，為宣德景德鎮御窰的典型之作，清康熙、雍正朝均有仿燒，也廣為世界各博物館收藏。北京故宮博物院藏一件，為清宮舊藏，見耿寶昌著《故宮博物院藏明初青花瓷》，北京，2002年，卷2，圖版146；另一件為上海博物館所藏，見《上海博物館》，北京，1985年，圖版105；北京首都博物館也藏一例，載於《首都博物館藏瓷選》，北京，1991年，圖版97；一例藏景德鎮陶瓷歷史博物館，見《編集中國江西景德鎮陶磁館》，京都，1982年，圖版38（下）；第五例藏台北故宮博物院，見《明代宣德官窰菁華特展圖錄》，台北，1998年，編號62。

同類盌在西方收藏例，見康蕊君著《玫茵堂中國陶瓷》，倫敦，1994年，卷2，圖版671，此盌來源有緒，分別為 K.L. Dawes、 John F. Woodthorpe 及 Frederick Mayer 所藏，1954年4月6日於倫敦蘇富比拍出，編號24；2011年10月5日於香港蘇富比玫茵堂專拍中拍出，編號12。另一件為 R.H.R. Palmer 所藏，曾於敏求精舍三十週年紀念展中展出，見展覽目錄編號33，曾先後兩次於香港佳士得拍賣，1989年1月17日編號567、1996年11月3日編號546。

此盌的造型、紋飾宣德以後繼續延燒，見三件可比較的例子，分別為美國前總統胡佛、Allan Hoover 伉儷及 Koger 伉儷收藏，1990年11月27日於紐約蘇富比拍出，編號6 帶宣德年款、編號9帶萬曆年款、編號8是一對十八世紀作品，帶宣德偽款。
