the shallow rounded sides rising around a slightly recessed centre from a short tapered foot, deftly incised around the exterior and painted in bright green enamel against an ochre-yellow ground with two slender five-clawed dragons striding among clouds in pursuit of 'flaming pearls', with flowing manes, undulating scaly bodies and outstretched claws, the interior and the base reserved in white, the slightly concave base inscribed in underglaze blue with a four-character reign mark within double circles
Condition
There is a 1 cm hairline crack at the rim, but apart from this the dish is in quite good condition.
