of rectangular form, intricately woven in delicate shades of green, red, white, brown and blue with two songbirds perched on a flowering pomegranate tree, the lush orange-red flowers opening in full bloom, the curling leaves naturalistically defined in variegated tones, a gnarled branch of white flowers, possibly jasmine, issuing in the foreground and a sprig of peonies growing among rocks, enclosed within a brocade lotus-pattern border, framed and glazed

Condition
The colours are somewhat faded as expected (possibly around 20% from the original colours) but overall the kesi is in quite good condition. There is a 5 cm. horizontal repair to the top left near the border (visible in the catalogue illustration).
