the deep rounded sides rising from a slightly tapered foot to a gently lipped rim, freely painted in shaded tones of cobalt, the interior with a central medallion enclosing an en face five-clawed dragon writhing among foliate lotus within a double line-border, below a band enclosing a dragon and a phoenix alternating with lotus sprays on the interior rim, the exterior with a variety of fish, leaping or swimming among pondweed and lotus, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character reign mark within double circles

Condition
This bowl is overall in good condition. There are some minor firing imperfections and light scratches to the surface glaze. There is an unburst air bubble on the medallion inside and some kiln grits around the rim. There are some glaze gaps on the rim around the foot ring.
