Apart from a few minute enamel flakes and a small enamel shrinkage, the overall condition is extremely good. The gilding is in very good condition.

朝隆年間，盛行以瓷胎繪彩仿掐絲琺瑯器，然鮮見如本瓶細膩精緻、色彩斑駁。縱使其器形、色調、纏枝花卉及仿古夔龍，均常見於乾隆御瓷，設計相近之器寡，足見此瓶之珍。乾隆年間有器形相類的轎瓶，如香港佳士得於2007年5月29日售出的一對粉紅地花卉御製詩轎瓶（編號1383），形態比例與本器相仿，同綴雙耳，只轎瓶連仿木底座。
