Condition
The canvas has been relined. Ultra-violet light reveals signs of retouching predominantly along the four edges of the composition.
Held in an elaborate gilt rococo-style frame, with a nameplate.
The colours are deeper in reality than in the catalogue illustration, and pinker overall than the orange tones visible in the illustration.
