The condition of the plaster is good with dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is a fissure from the front of the figure to more prominently across his back. There are two losses to the paint to the reverse of the figure and to the top of his wig, as well as some further minor losses. There is a small round stain to the base. There are minor chips and abrasions to the plaster, particularly to the edges of the base.
