Condition

Overall the condition of the relief is good with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are a few small losses to the bottom edge of the relief under the fleece. There are a few small nicks and scratches to the nut, including to the proper left collar and armour. There are some minor dirt residues including to the King's forehead. There is minor splitting to the frame consistent with material including a slightly unstable split at the front at the bottom right (also visible to the reverse) and another to the reverse at the top left. There are a few small chips and scratches to the frame and a canvas patch to the reverse at the top. There is a slightly visible insert to the top of the frame at the front.
