古代的〈內經圖〉是描繪人體經絡血氣運行的圖說，為道家靜養功思想與修行的秘笈。彭泓智以〈內經圖〉做為創作基底，邀請觀眾以行動繪畫的方式，即興地將顏料潑灑或滴流於畫布上，藝術家再依著潑灑的痕跡，發展出完整的線條輪廓，形成雄厚恣意的畫面。是一種透過觀者的參與以主觀方式呈現的繪畫，利用藝術家和觀眾互動地即興舞繪，表達出雙方內在的宇宙世界及內心精氣的運行與能量，重新詮釋古代內經圖所傳達的概念，令觀者再次思量中國深遠博大的精神理念。

彭泓智筆觸細膩而敏感，對於畫面細節有非常出色的刻畫，畫面上的線條交織扭曲，變幻無常，細看時可發現藝術家精練的筆跡。《後內經圖之心界》一作中，彭泓智以一種隨性趨向超寫實而又帶著行動繪畫的筆法，結合古代「內經圖」的玄秘氣韻，在畫面上重組建構東西方的藝術語言，形成具有個人美學特色的藝術風格。
