Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are accurate, although the purple tends more towards a soft lilac in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is evidence of extremely light wear and handling to all four corner tips and extreme edges. There are two minute media accretions towards the lower centre of the composition, likely to be inherent to the artists working process. Extremely close inspection reveals a small number of pinhead-sized fly spots in a few isolated places. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
