Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly cooler in the original. Condition: This work is in good condition. Close inspection reveals light wear and handling towards the upper corner tips. There are a few tiny, scattered and unobtrusive fly spots in the white pigment. There are hairline cracks running along the intersection between the surface of the composition and the protruding elements. The latter have some signs of ligh wear towards the edges, with an associated speck of paint loss along the edge of the shorter white diagonal element. There is an additional extremely minute speck of loss to the left hand edge, about 8cm. from the upper left corner tip.
