The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the white tends more towards a soft cream in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Very close inspection reveals tiny specks of light media deposits scattered across the surface. There is a very thin scratch towards the centre of the composition, visible under raking light, and a few further minute and unobtrusive hairline scratches towards the lower half of the composition. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
