loosely woven with floral medallions, the edges all sewn with black borders embroidered with butterflies and floral sprigs, further edged with woven ribbon with floral decoration, the borders along the sides terminating in ruyi-heads beneath the arms
Condition
The silk is stressed along the hems and on the medallions. There is some slight staining overall. The front of the robe is more faded, but overall in good condition.
