one carved holding a flower in her left hand and a string of prayer beads in her right, the other depicted holding a vase, with a phoenix grasping a peony branch by her side, both clad in long flowing robes and mounted as candlesticks with gilt metal openwork bases formed from flowering branches, one branch rising up the back of each figure and branching out to support two candle cups (2)

Condition
Both with some minor wear to the stone where the metal mounts make contact. The stone of the second figure with a pale green tinge, and some black pin point inclusions in the phoenix and around the base. Both figures in overall good condition.
