carved to one side with an immortal holding a lingzhi sprig and floating on a large lotus petal towards another immortal standing at the water's edge as a duck looks on, all backed by a rocky arch with narrow opening, the tangled pine trees and bamboo carved on the reverse extending over the sides to frame the scene, the green stone with opaque white inclusions suffused with streaks of dark brown
