the receptacle carved from the white chalcedony section of the stone in the form of a curled melon leaf, partially enveloping a small melon, the exterior with smaller leaves and tendrils, the rim supporting a silkworm on a small leaf and a squirrel, another squirrel and two blossoms carved from the red carnelian section of the stone, the white section crossed with variegated lavender veins
