comprising a bowl of conical-form freely carved with a floral design to the interior, a cup supported on a raised foot and domed cover with flat circular knop, a flower-head box and cover, and a box and cover formed as three melons borne on undulating stems to form the handle, all covered in a translucent glaze of pale blue tone (7)

Condition
Bowl - there is a half inch (1.2cm) and two 1/2 inch (.6cm) cracks tand scattered very minor chips to the rim edge. There are some typical minor burst air bubbles and firing faults to the glaze on the interior.
Cup and cover - cup has a minor firing tear and a glaze crack to the foot. The cover has a small chip to the flange.
Flowerhead box and cover - box has an area of chipping and repair to the flange, the cover has a small rim chip. The cover is a little ill-fitting and has fired with a smoother, more greyish-yellow glaze than the box.
Melon box and cover - box - small chip to one flange, cover - one stem is a made up replacement. The glaze on the cover is finely crazed whilst the glaze on the box is not crazed.
