in the form of an inkwell, the circular well painted in doucai and supported by four pierced flanges, surmounted on a coral-glazed quatrefoil base with scalloped apron and ruyi-shaped feet, and gilt-decorated with lotus blossoms, seal mark in gilding
Condition
There is a chip to one of the ruyi-shaped feet, and there is fritting to the rim edge. There is wear to the enamel around the foot rim and to the gilding overall.
