There is a minute chip to the top edge of the red lotus lead on the back side, however the overall condition is quite good.

Compare the present bottle to another in the Bloch collection, sold at Bonhams Hong Kong, 28^th November 2011, lot 104. Both bottles are carved in a similar style, depicting the same subject and using common colours, and it is likely that both bottles date to the second half of the Qialong period.
