西岡康宏，曾撰文探討十件類同作例，同上註，頁18-27，包括此件拍品以及專場中編號150，其中五例刻有藝匠呂鋪造銘。根據款識，西岡氏推測此十器均製於漆藝重地杭州，並因其中二例之銘文皆以干支紀年，推斷其年代應為南宋十三世紀。

長尾雙鳳穿梭花葉圖紋始興於宋代，元明二朝仍甚風行，可見於各式不同工藝器物，但如本品所見，作長方形佈局者，卻甚珍罕。一類同盤器，雕飾牡丹、菊花、梅花圖，雙鳳穿梭其間，展出於東京國立博物館，2004年，前述出處，編號18；另一例，尺寸較大，折沿，繁花茂密間作雙鳳，展於《宋元の美：伝来の漆器を中心に》，根津美術館，東京，2004年，編號89。
