北齊 石灰石浮雕貼金彩繪坐佛殘石

carved seated in dhyanasana on a lotus base, wearing a long robe draped diagonally across the left shoulder leaving the torso partially bare and sweeping over his arms and knees, the right hand raised in abhayamudra, and the left with palm down in bhumisparsamudra, his rounded face with delicate features portrayed in a meditative expression, below smooth hair covering the domed ushnisha, with extensive, possibly original, gilding adhering to the surface, predominantly on the robe but also on the face, and red pigment applied to the truncated lotus base and halo, wood stand

There is an old surface chip to the right edge of the raised hand and the lotus and halo are truncated as visible on the photo. The gilding and paint are typically rubbed and worn. Beside this there seems to be no recent restorations or damages.

此像雕工簡樸，類同一尊紀年天保二年（551）之坐佛，著錄於松原三郎，《中国仏敎彫刻史論》，東京，1995年，圖版編二，圖版469b。參考另一件佛坐像，雕刻風格相似，面相亦近類，出自東京藝術大學珍藏，展出於《中国の石仏：荘厳なる祈り》，大阪市立美術館，大阪，1995年，編號119。
