Condition
This work appears to be in generally good overall condition. The bearing is slightly wavy along the upper left margin because of the artist's media. There are traces of dust on the surface. There is a tiny tear on the upper part of the second figure. Colors are warmer compared to the catalogue illustration.

"Mario e i suoi amici Franco Angeli e Tano Festa erano diventati 'i maestri del colore', così li aveva definiti un altro pittore amico loro, perchè entravano da Rosati stanchi, annoiati, con la puzza sotto il naso, vestiti di scuro.
Avevano una vita mondana, erano andati in America, in Messico, e si erano messi con donne bellissime. [...] Io comunque quell'anno [1965] ho organizzato una personale di Schifano con i quadri già venduti prima dell'apertura al pubblico. È stata una delle mie più belle mostre. C'erano le opere ispirate al Futurismo e quelle ricoperte de Perspex colorato."
