Recording the marriage of Samuel, son of Hanoch Pesaro and the widow, Graziosa, daughter of the late Isaac Pesaro. (First husband: Abraham Pesaro), on Friday 13 Tammuz, 5495 [= July 3, 1735].

This is a rare example of a ketubbah for a  Levirate marriage wherein, in keeping with the biblical injunction (Deut. 25: 5-6) a man marries his brother's widow if his brother had died childless. Twisted columns support an arch divided into twelve sections, each with signs of the Zodiac. Above it, in the cartouche, the coat of arms of the groom's family.
