Condition
This work is in very good condition. There is an artist's pinhole in the middle of the blank top border. There is evidence of slight undulation caused by mounting.

馬明的《樓上畫家》系列，最早亮相於導演楊凡的同名專欄。藝術家早年從事攝影與設計，及後全面投入繪畫創作，曾經多次參與博物館群展，亦曾於台北101進行個展，其畫風自有個性，不留前人筆法，《背影》與《野孩子》題旨明確，畫面饒有立體派與抽象元素，以隨形線條和色塊組建形象，以直觀感受與觀眾交流，正如其好友楊凡所說：「他會鍾意以畫會友，冀望不需任何形式上的溝通，也能真正理解體會。」
