The work is overall in very good condition. There is no evidence of restoration under UV light.

譚行健的《花下》以不同於西洋透視法型態的表達方式呈現一種超視覺的空間概念；以中國傳統木刻版樣式化的形式為元素，表達出一絲若有似無，不易察覺卻又存在的含蓄與互動。隱隱約約顯現東方壓抑、內斂、纖細，略帶超現實氛圍的情境。其以西方寫實技法繪製的花卉，結合中國古代木刻版畫的素材，跳離時空，重新詮釋東西法則，並轉換成新時代的典雅的中式韻味，賦予作品特出的當代意涵。
