4 albums, 4to (279 x 208mm.), 205 photographs (from 70 x 43mm. to 265 x 202mm., or the reverse), mounted on card, recto only, most with several photographs to a side, contemporary plastic ring binder albums, a few photographs becoming loose, slight wear to extremities of bindings

These photographs were compiled by Aramco executive G.F. Larsen, and include several formal portraits of the Saudi royal family, including HM King Ibn Saud and HRH Crown Prince Saud, and also Sheikh Hafiz Wahba. There are also images of a visit to the oil fields by Saudi dignitaries, images of local life, aircraft, desert landscapes from the air, expatriate life (including Larsen's house and its furnishings), and social gatherings. In addition, one album contains many views of rural and urban life in Saudi Arabia, including herding animals, markets, camels, and photographs of traditional architecture in Jeddah and Riyadh.
