These three (of twelve) parts of De Bry's Small Voyages are concerned with Africa and the East Indies and comprise:

Vera descriptio regni Africani... [Pigafetta's account of Odoardo Lopez's voyage to the Congo, 1578]. Frankfurt, 1598, engraved title, arms on dedication leaf, 3 folding maps and 14 plates, title repaired and backed, repairs to edges (without loss of text), a few plates shaved and others with margins added, plate XIV with loss to image, maps heavily restored (with loss)

II Pars Indiae orientalis... [Linschoten's voyages to Africa and the East Indies]. Frankfurt: Wolfgang Richter, 1599, printed title within engraved border, engraved portrait of Linschoten at head of preface, 2 (of 3) folding maps and plans, and 39 plates (2 plates numbered 32), a few marginal tears, slight loss of text on H4, 4 plates with genitalia erased, plate 37 with extended margins, lacking folding map "Nova tabula Insularum Iavae, Sumatrae..."
