of hexagonal form with domed screw-on cap fitting over a cork stopper with gilded silver mount, the body elaborately engraved with Chinoiserie scenes of tea drinking and warriors surrounded by extensive strapwork borders

the interior lid somewhat loose, perhaps from shrinking of cork, otherwise in overall good condition
