the larger vessel with flat, shaped handle gilded and engraved with scrolling floral ornament, the gilded rim of the bowl inscribed in Slavonic "Charka [of the] Trinity St. Sergius Monastery" on a reeded ground, the underside engraved with scratch weight and inventory numbers, the silver footed charka set with coin commemorating the death of Peter the Great in 1725, struck with unidentified maker's mark B.P
